Most of these apps follow a 3-level pattern in which the first 30 days is easiest and meant for burning belly fat, the second 30 days is more intensive and meant for toning the abs, and the last 30 is for making the abs rock hard. So it's actually more like 90-day abs lmao.

The reason some workouts aren't for abs is because if you imagine someone with not much muscle or slightly bigger then average people it would look weird to have a six pack/ really defined abs
