If you DO wear your Watch to bed, you don't need to do a single thing. AutoSleep will track your sleep & quality and send you a notification in the morning.
Even if you don't wear your Watch to bed, AutoSleep can track your time in bed. It's extremely simple.
If you DON'T wear your Watch to bed, then simply take your Watch off before you go to sleep. As soon as you touch your iPhone or put your Watch back on in the morning then AutoSleep will know that you have finished sleeping.
As everyone is a little bit different. AutoSleep provides a simple setup wizard and an option to tweak if you are a very restless sleeper.
If you wear your Apple Watch to bed*, AutoSleep will also analyse your sleep quality. By using time asleep, restlessness, time awake and heart rate it can score the quality of your sleep and provide you with a comprehensive nightly analysis.
*Note. If you do not wear your Watch to bed, AutoSleep simply captures the amount of time sleeping.
AutoSleep also works with HeartWatch our premier heart & activity monitoring app and writes your Sleep information to Apple Health.

I’ve been using this app for a week and every morning I’m perplexed at how little sleep it says I’m getting. Swapped to another free app which is instantly more accurate.
Worth the money
Been using this app for a few weeks. Found it not to be very accurate at tracking my sleep. Going to delete and try a different app.
After using th app for almost two years I can say that it has been very helpful. It especially helps me make sleep a more important and more enjoyable part of my day. The data is useful and insightful and gives me everything I need to make informed decisions. It also allows those who love to collect as much data as possible to see everything there is to see about their sleeps. I've always enjoyed using it!

I really enjoyed app but one day every re odd was gone and was not even recoding day before.. I have not change setting or anything .
The main reason I got an Apple Watch is to help track my sleep and create better habits. This is one of the better sleep apps I’ve used. It’s a little hard to understand all the information. But the parts I really wanted to know it has. And I’m learning not that I expected which for me is amazing.

I enjoy this app because it is so easy. You just have to make sure your watch is charged - and there is a reminder for that! The data is thorough and can be seen in multiple ways. I am trying to find trends in my sleep patterns and there is more than enough information here for me to know if changes I make are helping. I have learned a lot about sleep along the way, too, just based on what the app tracks.
This app may be good but it is so confusing to use. Everything is so damn hard to configure. All I want is, this is the time I went to sleep, this is the time I woke up and this is the quality of your sleep. How can we get a refund?
I’ve had various sleep trackers since they first came out years ago, none amazing. And when I got my Apple Watch I struggled to find a decent one. I gave up for at least the last 12 months or so until I saw an article rating AutoSleep last week. Glad I saw it as this is the best and easiest Sleep App I’ve used and I highly recommend it!
It’s not the first sleep apps that I have, but this one is more accurate on watch with more measurements.
This app is brilliant for a major insomniac like me to keep track of my sleep deficits, so I can alter my sleep routine. Love it ♥️. Last night I made 7 hours , my usual is 3-4 hours , so I am rapt.
Started off with issues but good support emails helped. Apple update and restarts help. Stay with it and make fine tunings and it’s get more accurate. In the end a good App and great quick support. Had this app a few years ago and gave up. Summary: a good app.
Over the last 6 months I’ve managed to increase my nights sleep by almost 30 mins. Using Auto Sleep has been great.
