If you lose all your lives duolingo will take your friends away if you do it again say goodbye to all your friends because he’ll track them down and make all of them have a slow and painful death and if you lose all your lives 3 times he’ll take your life ITS SIMPLE IF YOU DONT DO SPANISH YOU VANISH
sometimes it will say that I havent earnt my streak when I have and I will lose my streak for no reason thought I might just mention however very good
I have had the best experience in learning a language using Duolingo for the last 4 days than I did for the 3 years I learnt a language at school! It’s fun, easy and accessible to all of a variety of abilities. I 100% recommend this app for learning a language regardless as to its application.
i personally find that they have long way to go when it comes to challenging users but otherwise the system/concept is pretty well done
J’apprends l’italien et j’adore les visuels je viens de commencer il y a a peine quelques jours et je vois deja une progression. Merci à Duolingo
To much lags
Too much bugs.... And on top of that, they understand nothing at all
I am enjoying brushing up on two languages that I just didn’t use enough. But it would be very nice if listening tests and speaking tests could be reviewed separately. I am often doing these lessons in public, noisy places, so I cannot do them well immediately. Doing them separately when I get home, would be really useful.
Estoy aprendiendo español debido a duilinguo y me gusta mucho
After several attempts to learn espanol, I found duolingo and I am finally learning! Next is German, followed by Italian and Irish! Thank you duolingo.
I downloaded this app with high expectations to learn a new language (specifically Japanese) and ended up deleting it due to stress and pressure. It barely taught me anything and just made me angry and teary-eyed. It was basically like giving a child a math problem they don’t understand and instead of teaching it to them, you just keep throwing it in their face until they eventually get it right (highly unlikely) or completely give up like I did. J will try my best to find another source of learning to learn Japanese, but I will not download duolingo again because of this.
Duo!? What the heck? You guys just got rid of clubs without letting any of us know? Now I can’t connect with all the friends I made in my club? Super sad... :( Still love you, but ??????????
I am giving this app 3 stars because it took away my streak even though I done a lesson!! And today when I woke up, I got a notification saying that I lost my streak!! Can u plz fix this!!

No. 1 on my bucket list is to learn another language. My son’s partner is Polish so I thought I’d give that a try. I planned to go as far as I could with it and to give up when it became too difficult. But... I’m actually smashing it! Nobody’s more surprised than me that I’ve got this far into it. And it’s fun. And it’s free.

Millys review of it all
I’m really enjoying being Abe to learn Spanish. There are just a couple problems, 1 I feel like when I’m learning Spanish the language is going over the subject really quickly and by the end of the day I just forget what I’ve learnt. 2 they started with a really wired subject like I think they should have started with saying hi and thank you ect, but other than that it’s a great app
Biggest problem with this app: They can’t speak English! They try to force American down our throats and into our minds and they have the audacity to call it English! Noted that there is a bit more English now but not less American. The app is fair but if you are very raw and never spoke a language is is just not that simple. Most languages have general rules but these are not to be found. You have to figure it out yourself. On the Web there is more and occasionally I found something in German on the iPad but it leaves a lot to be desired - whether you use the paid or free version.
I got a few questions wrong and haven’t had my door knocked down by Duo (the Duolingo bird), that bird is up to something, it is still a good app, I have learned some German words from it :)
They stole my family becuse you said to download it.

I know my boyfriend (a Brazilian) thanks to Duolingo. No joke. It all started nearly 4 years ago. He sent me a message at my profile saying that he would like to help me with Portuguese if I would like to help him with English. (I live in Belgium and speak Dutch, but as a lot of people here I can speak English.) Deal. But we started to like each other later and eventually met a few times in real life over the past two years. After he visited me in Belgium a few times, I went to Brazil one time at least. I never imagined in my whole life I would visit a country like Brazil and today (1 year later) I still think about this journey a lot, I can't describe with words how it was for me to enter a total different country in a total different state, and SO immense. (My country is very small and I never traveled that far away, so...) To meet my boyfriend. Let alone have a boyfriend itself from this country. Everything went well and today he lives with me and I can speak Brazilian Portuguese fluently. He still needs to improve his English because I'm better at languages than he is, but well...!! First he has to learn Dutch! ;) All of this because of this site/app! Sometimes we still can't believe it! Thank you Duolingo!!!
A thing well said will be wit in all languages.
