HBO Max: Stream TV & Movies Reviews (4,999)
This app is too challenging & frustrating! Waste of $$$$$. Too many glitches
This app was SO BAD when it launched. I worked with AT&T for 5 years and all I could think “thanks AT&T” but since it’s launch the app has improved a lot! My favorite part is background functionality. I love that I can play the audio of a movie or show in the background. I listen to fresh prince in the car and the app works better than Spotify as a standalone audio app even though it’s meant for video. This has been my best hbo experience yet.
Pretty much the worst interface out of any other streaming service. Suggestions: center play/pause button, add next button for tv shows to play the next episode, show season number in the title that’s being played, make episodes easily accessible, add skip title sequence option, and fix the issue of closing out of minimized screen when episode ends and play next episode instead. It’s really weird that the app is so terrible.... Come on, it’s 2020, streaming services are part of everyday life, I’m sure there is plenty of research about user experience of such apps, app development is pretty advanced. Being a multi billion dollars company, how did you end up rolling out such crappy app....you really dropped the ball. It’s been over a month now and no significant updates to fix this crap.
Bite off more than you can chew, then chew it.
