My Favorite Murder with Karen Kilgariff and Georgia Hardstark Reviews
This podcast is what got me into true crime podcasts. I grew up with an OG Murderino mom who watched all sorts of true crime on tv. You girls feel like my best friends. I love the back and forth banter before and during your murder stories. The mini episodes are so much fun, hearing from all the other fans. I am the type to start from the beginning and binge my way through what is already established and I loved listening to you grow. ❤️❤️ Love you all 💗
I love listening to Karen and Georgia everyday when I get ready for work!
I couldn’t get past the first 15 mins without hearing every cuss word out there, I’m sorry but you can tell a good true crime story without the fowl language or at least hold yourself back to every now and then but it’s every other word is the F-bomb.
This was the first podcast I ever listened to and I found it about 3.5 years ago. It seems to have evolved from a genuine interest and passion of the hosts to strictly a money-making venture. The case selection is getting worse and I don't think they're into it anymore. And more and more of the podcast are fake deep thoughts from both of them. As well as 'wine mom' type moments. Basically, I still listen but no longer get excited to see a new episode. And I have to skip most of the "you go girl!!" chatter. It's skewing into Ellen or Oprah territory which just isn't my thing.
These ladies who are so witty and full of life tell real stories of despair and loss. They help us wrap our heads around how the worst could happen and we all share in the sorrow, the mystery, the real hard truths. Then they say something that diffuses all of it in a moment of humor. Yes, because laughter is how we do this. It’s how we find our way out of the dark forest and remember to call our Dad ‘cause we might be in a cult. It’s how we deal with cocaine bears, and cheese fetishes. Damn I love this podcast. If you love your family have them listen and learn how to stay safe. Just don’t write in about fur babies, they really hate that.
Great podcast! Georgia & Karen are hysterical & so real. I’ve listened to every episode.
My girlfriend listens to you guys daily and she had me listen with her. You guys are awesome! We laugh so freaking hard listening to you guys!! I have a criminology and forensics degree and have a deep fascination (as does she) with serial killers. Hopefully we’ll be able to catch one of your live shows (if you ever come to Denver)...but until then we’ll enjoy the podcasts!
Love the show until your suttle ways you bash a certain political group. Keep politics out!! Or start a lib show I would never listen to. See ya.
About to delete ya
If you don’t want to hear two true crime podcasters personal opinions about politics, then do yourself a favor and don’t bother with this one. They claim to be woke, pc and accepting of everyone...they are, as long as your opinion is the same as theirs. One is extremely immature and the other thinks it’s perfectly fine to have zero respect for anyone or anything.
These fantastically funny and compassionate OG Murderinos are my favourite part of each Monday and Thursday. Caught up on 3 yrs of episodes in about 3 months because it’s so good!
These ladies have nailed the human condition & how dumbass murderers are.
Just started this podcast and love it, however most times I go to look for the first few podcasts, It only goes as far back as episode 52. Very rarely will it have the first few there. Very annoy as I’m only on episode 20. Please fix!
Honestly they really make mundane life activities fun! I would recommend starting from the start & working your way through their journey. Karen & Georgia are seriously so funny!
The perfect podcast. Women empowering all listeners with humour, stories and mental health positivity. SSDGM 5EVA
My favourite podcast by far, can’t get enough of it.
If Chuck Norris gave you a back rub, the coroner would swear you swallowed a hand grenade.
Great app, accurate
Love! Five stars.

Down to earth women talking about true crime and using comedy as a way of dealing with anxiety. Funny and interesting.
Possibly done their dash - continuing to be problematic. Getting annoying.
Love you ladies Best podcast EVER
Just love listening to you guys!
2 ladies, 2 microphones that fill our ears with murder, 1 cat that always wants a cookie. This podcast is the bomb!!!
Random chit chat for 30 minutes at the start of each podcast is disappointing and will deter potential listeners GB
This podcast was good a while back. If you skip the first 25-30mins of every episode, you’ll get straight to the content. Now seems like off-topic chat is being used to pad out the stories themselves, which didn’t seem to happen before and is really sad. Used to love this podcast but it’s not really that good any more :( GB
I listen to this podcast so much! If i’m cooking, cleaning or driving I’m never not listening to their podcast! Started working my way back through past episodes at the beginning of 2020 so I haven’t heard any new ones, but I love that there is such a huge variety of the murders talked about in the show. Love the alternation between maxi and mini episodes as sometimes two big heavy stories can be a bit saddening so it’s nice to hear some hometowns in between the bigger episodes. So nice when Karen and Georgie spend time at the beginning just discussing their lives at it helps the listener - I think - ease in to the podcast as opposed to being shoved straight into a triple murder or whatever. I first started watching Buzzfeed Unsolved and this is very close in the style of how things are told, plus I can listen to this anywhere!! Would definitely recommended to any true crime fans, new or old! GB
Work out your own salvation. Do not depend on others.
