Loved Catherine Keener, David Schwimmer, Oscar Isaac and Amy Sedaris. The story was riveting and the production was really good. Issues: - too many commercial breaks and the same ads over and over - music in the second season - felt like it fell apart in the last two episodes, like they hurried to finish it - I wanted more! Felt like Heidi’s real motive was never really clarified, or why the whole experiment happened in the first place, or how she came to be a part of it and how much she knew about Geist to begin with...I felt like there should have been more. - I’m interested in the TV show but so bummed they didn’t get the original actors, at least for everyone but Walter (just due to age)

I cannot beleive that this podcast is free! Amazing story, amazing cast. WOW! Thanks!
I’m glad I stumbled upon this podcast. It’s refreshing and I starting listening before I knew all the big names behind the voices. I absolutely love Catherine Keener as an actress and love her voice. All of the cast do a fantastic job. The acting is so good and convincing and I think that would be hard to do through just voice acting. I’m a fan.
Season 2 is not as good. Not sure why, I think each episode is stretched out ... more music added, doesn’t flow as well. Such a fantastic story!!
Ended with a whimper. The first season set up an interesting story but the second season went no where and seemed to consist mostly of whining and bickering. It is not clear if there will be a third season but honestly I don’t know if I would listen or watch the tv show. I gave it 3 stars because the acting was good.
Considering the surprising all star cast, this fictional podcast is very underwhelming. The story is interesting and the acting is great, but it doesn't deliver much entertainment value. No climax, no twists, and overall... meh. Nothing will ever compare to Wolf359.
Was really hoping that there would be a season 3 podcast, not tv show. Any chance we will listen to at least one last podcast?
I just finished both seasons of Homecoming and I absolutely loved it! The story totally engrossed me and everyone did such an amazing job. Catherine Keener and Davis Schwimmer were fantastic. I imagined them acting out the scenes the entire time and the story unfolded perfectly. I hope the actors in the new prime series do this show justice. I’m having a hard time imagining anyone else in these roles. If there was a negative, it was the interval music in season two. It didn’t flow. As much as I disliked it, I couldn’t dock the whole the whole show for it.
I’m 2 1/2 episodes in and can’t continue. The way the characters interact is so annoying! Talking over each other, background noise in every phone conversation. In the first three episodes David Schwimmer’s character (I don’t know his name and don’t care to look it up) has called while running through an airport, describing his surroundings, from a cab in Dubai, describing his surroundings, from his daughter’s wedding, describing the surroundings.... It seems like the writers are trying to add extraneous info to prolong the story. The main female character also rambles constantly. I’m out!
Yes, the podcast jumps around between past, present and future. I don't mind. It keeps things fresh and interesting. I love the dialogue that feels so natural, like you're listening to someone's conversation. It doesn't sound as scripted as it is. I appreciate the twists and manipulations and human dimension that the story gives; almost like there's a give and take between empathetic and overtly confident conversations. Looking forward to hearing more.
Kobe Equals Greatness
This podcast is great!!! Not sure how people could give it one star after 3 short episodes. Great voice acting and you know the story is building to something big. Like all big budget podcasts they're never too long but it's so so so worth it. Can't wait to hear the rest. Wish it was longer, so addictive.
The sound effects in the background are just excessive. I know you are trying to show quality but after 3 episodes, its just too much.
Loved this series except when started doing episodes in the making.
Season 1 was amazing! I couldn’t stop listening. Season 2 lost me a little bit but maybe I just overdosed on the podcast. Also, if I have to hear that Cole Haan add one more time (in back to back succession!) im going to scream 🤪
Chuck Norris killed Santa Clause, for trespassing.
Amazing atmosphere, twists, turns & mystery. Uniquely great. But for the upcoming tv show- they attached Julia Roberts for the part Catherine Keener owned here. Really?
This podcast is mesmerising and completely captivating! I think it’s the best storytelling podcast ever. How did you craft a movie for my ears? You people are genius. Thank you, thank you, thank you. And, more, more, more!
Maybe I missed it.... just seemed a very long draw out vague story line with a Stella cast. Not my cup of tea thank you.
Really great to see Gimlet move into fiction. As always top notch production quality, great writing & editing and each episode has a great balance between reveal and mystery.
I could feel the emotions in their voices. Highly recommend
Compelling, original, edge-of-your-seat stuff. Can't wait for season 2. Listen to Homecoming in one sitting. I dare you.
What a pain! Was really looking forward to this but that gabbling voice in the ads turned me right off. I’ve deleted it. Really not going there with that going on every few minutes. GB
Radio drama can often disappoint - not with this podcast. Not quite at the end of season one and I love how new plot points are revealed in such a way as to keep me gripped. The script and acting are excellent abd I feel as if I’m eavesdropping on real conversations. Echos of The Bourne trilogy but not copycat. This is so good I don’t want to watch the TV remake. GB
Cast Iron Theatre
Great! The episodes are cleverly jumbled and interesting - the amazing character of Belfast is so dark and well written. GB
Your big opportunity may be right where you are now.
