Conan O’Brien Needs A Friend Reviews
This Podcast is the best Comedy podcast ever. You would be a Fool not to stop whatever you are doing, subscribe to this podcast and start enjoying all the verbal f***ing and s***king this podcast delivers every week. Conan is a “Need Monster” and his occupation is truly a Foole
Conan is wild and fun and great energy. Very Conan. Best comedians and full on silliness. Will Arnett and Neil Young are my fav ever. Gotta back the mic off the laughers in the background. Fun environment but it’s one laugher (his assistant) that laughs loudly at everything everyone says. Kind of takes away from the interviews. Distracting
The best podcast. Will increase rating from 6/5 to 7/5 once we hear from the Masturbating Bear and the Bashful Robot (on the toilet), both of whom would surely like to be Conan O’Brien’s friend. Listening eagerly from sheltering in place in Tokyo.
My podcast listening has dropped off now that I no longer have a commute but this is one I make a point to listen to every week. Never fails to make me laugh out loud. Do yourself a favour- tune out from the news and listen to Conan:)
The podcast purely makes me happy, whenever I’ve had a long hard day at work it’s the perfect thing to unwind to and remember the silliness of everything! I love the Catholic humour and even got my parents back home in Ireland to listen!
Listened to all of them and except for a couple episodes where the guest wasn’t my cut of tea, it’s fantastic. One of the most entertaining podcasts I’ve ever listened to and Conan, Sona and Gourley compliment each other perfectly. I love Coco!
I’ve been bingeing this podcast during the pandemic and it’s just so great - thanks Gorley! ;)
Just a thought... **did Conan just call him Alan *Turning*? Come on, guys.
Man, I’m glad Conan hasn’t made a friend and is still in need of one! I hope that if he does, indeed, find a friend that the podcast will still keep going - I look forward to it every week! Sona and Gourley are so great!
Conan is brilliant, hilarious and self deprecating. Sona is perfection and Gorley is so funny and the ideal foil. Bill Hader, Martin Short, Bob Newhart.... hysterical. I look forward to it all week, I love you guys!!
I don’t usually rate podcasts but this one is downright special. Conan is a rare fusion of smart, amiable and hilarious and his craft is seriously underrated. I don’t mind the ads (because they’re funny) and the banter between him, Sona and Matt in the opening and closing are as good as the interviews are. I look forward to Monday’s because of this podcast and it has helped me get through a lot of bad days.
And I have been lately!! Loved him on TV - now I can listen to him whenever I want. He - as always - is effortlessly funny, witty, and charming. Keep them coming!! Not much of a fan of Sona or Matt...but that’s ok- I am here for Conan. Update: as I continue to binge - Sona becomes more irritating - with this false sense of entitlement when she speaks. I immediately go for the ⏩button as soon as her voice comes on. She takes away from the podcast. Had to bump from 5 stars to 4.
One of the first podcasts I’ve gone though and downloaded nearly the entire backlog
As an Australian with Irish ancestors I don’t get why Conan is so proud of it. It doesn’t make you special, it just makes you sunburnt
Boooooooooooooooo 5 stars
Where the heck is the Regina Hall interview???!!!! Five stars - but sort this out.
Chuck Norris' first car was Optimus Prime.
Coco’s podcast is sublimely good, and the rapport that Matt and Sona have with Conan is throughly entertaining. The guests are great, have especially loved Jeff Goldblum, Michelle Obama and Ellen. Come visit New Zealand Conan, we’re far nicer than those Australians you visited recently :-)
I’ve never really been interested in podcasts until now. Love listening to you while I’m supposed to be doing work in the office. P.s love you Sona ❤️
Maxed out Kiwi
It’s wonderful to hear Conan in a format where he doesn’t have to think about fifty-million things at once (unlike the talk show). I think being in a more relaxed, laid back format allows for more ‘real’ conversations that you’d never get on live tv, and for Conan to show off his quippy wit in a more uncensored environment
The assistant Mona is so annoying . Stop fake laughing and let Conan and guest work
Very enjoyable but there’s too much sponsorship waffling. And the production assistant laughs too much in the background, it’s very distracting.
I’m a healthy 35 year old gay man and I have a full on crush on Conan.
Funny, clever and interesting every time. My favourite podcast GB
Mouthful of rotting crockery
I’m not a hater, I’ve just really fallen out of love with Conan’s shtick. The way Sona and Matt explode with laughter at anything Conan says brought it home to me how average this podcast is. I don’t want to hear another millionaire comedian guest talk about how hard it is to be famous. Talk to your therapist about it cos it interests me not at all. There’s a laziness here too. I wish Conan would have difficult guests on, maybe in an attempt to reconcile a divided country and see if it’s possible to build a friendship despite the political/cultural differences rather than just rich and famous people shooting the breeze. Cos, brother, that has been done. To. Death. GB
This podcast changed my life. Not by much but it did change my life... The pre and post interaction by Conan, Sona, and Matt is some of the best time ever podcast. GB
Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to a better understanding of ourselves.
