What a beautiful, funny, informative, touching, inspiring woman and episode. I place this above all others in the podcast. This was a reminder to appreciate the simple things, look for laughter everywhere, remember and honour the both the past and the knowledge that people who have lived much more of it can bring to us. Thank you for sharing your grandmother with us.

Justin is a great interviewer! Let’s the guests talk and is genuinely interested in what they have to say! But.. that theme song is so annoying! I can’t stand it. Please change it!

I like the podcast and have subscribed for the time being, I like the caliber of guest they interview and the friendly banter (when it is someone Justin knows or has worked with). The only downside is , and I hate to say this but ...I hate the song they play and they play it multiple times per episode, any chance of doing without?

I love this podcast so much! The opening little “stories”, the input by Christian, and then Justin’s just charming self. And the theme music has grown on me! Justin’s guests are always entertaining and Justin really knows how to interview. He knows when to talk, when to hang back (Bill Burr, I’m talking to you, dude), and he doesn’t constantly interrupt his guests like other hosts do. Always entertaining. 😊

Hey fellas, just wanted to say that I love your podcast and listen every week all the way from Australia. I love every episode but your Grandma Jody is by far my most favourite episode. She is just pure joy to listen to, and reminds me a lot of my grandmother and the chats we used to have up until she passed. Treasure every moment. It’s great to hear a podcast where you can tell the family is genuinely close and have respect for one another. Keep up the great work boys!!

My favourite episode to date. I could’ve listened to another hour or more! If you’d thrown Sam Rockwell into the mix it would’ve added a whole other level of hilarity. They’ve definitely got the same quick wit. Make sure you get that film happening lads, it would be priceless and forever precious ❤️

Justin Long is made for presenting a podcast, funny and laidback he’s a great conversationalist. Especially love the interactions with his brother at the start and end and when his mum made a brief appearance. Especially love how honest the podcast is about the entertainment industry. Only thing I think could be better is Justin Interrupts guests quite a bit and I think sometimes misses out on some potentially interesting stories - but I’m sure he’ll improve that with time. ***updating my review from 4 to 5 stars - over time this has become one of my favourite podcasts. Justin has interviewed some fascinating people, I especially loved the interview with Fran Dreschner, it was very old school Hollywood and made me laugh so much. Particularly like the intro and ending sections with Justin’s brother Christian. Please keep including Christian’s review/ thoughts on the interview at the end, it’s so insightful. Thanks guys! GB

I’ve been pouring podcasts into my earholes for more than a decade, but this one tops the list of my favourites (I’m English - hence the ‘u’ in ‘favourites’). Justin is an inexhaustible fountain of charm, empathy, and above all comedy. Listening to him (and Christian his brother) is a palliative to a weary heart and ears which have heard it all. Two criticisms though: A) Once a week is not enough, and 2) although the podcast name is clever AF, how did "Justin Time" not get picked because this podcast came…say it with me...just in time! I love you, Justin. Lesbie friends. GB

The past 6 months I’ve gotten into Podcasts, binging INSIDE OF YOU WITH MICHAEL ROSENBAUM, BUNNY EARS and FATMAN BEYOND. I’d ran out of content from binging their previous podcasts so I was on the lookout for a new podcast. I came across Justin’s, and I’ve always been a fan of his so it was a no brainer to give it a chance. Already have listened to 5 in the past couple of days and I’ll continue binging everything till I’m up to date. Great work Justin! GB

Life is Short with Justin Long Wiki

The internet with no limits

Life is a characteristic that distinguishes physical entities that have biological processes, such as signaling and self-sustaining processes, from those that do not, either because such functions have ceased (they have died), or because they never had such functions and are classified as inanimate. Various forms of life exist, such as plants, animals, fungi, protists, archaea, and bacteria. The criteria can at times be ambiguous and may or may not define viruses, viroids, or potential synthetic life as "living". Biology is the science concerned with the study of life. There is currently no consensus regarding the definition of life. One popular definition is that organisms are open systems that maintain homeostasis, are composed of cells, have a life cycle, undergo metabolism, can grow, adapt to their environment, respond to stimuli, reproduce and evolve. However, several other definitions have been proposed, and there are some borderline cases of life, such as viruses or viroids. Abiogenesis is the natural process of life arising from non-living matter, such as simple organic compounds. The prevailing scientific hypothesis is that the transition from non-living to living entities was not a single event, but a gradual process of increasing complexity. Life on Earth first appeared as early as 4.28 billion years ago, soon after ocean formation 4.41 billion years ago, and not long after the formation of the Earth 4.54 billion years ago. The earliest known life forms are microfossils of bacteria. Researchers generally think that current life on Earth descends from an RNA world, although RNA-based life may not have been the first life to have existed. The classic 1952 Miller–Urey experiment and similar research demonstrated that most amino acids, the chemical constituents of the proteins used in all living organisms, can be synthesized from inorganic compounds under conditions intended to replicate those of the early Earth. Complex organic molecules occur in the Solar System and in interstellar space, and these molecules may have provided starting material for the development of life on Earth.Since its primordial beginnings, life on Earth has changed its environment on a geologic time scale, but it has also adapted to survive in most ecosystems and conditions. Some microorganisms, called extremophiles, thrive in physically or geochemically extreme environments that are detrimental to most other life on Earth. The cell is considered the structural and functional unit of life. There are two kinds of cells, prokaryotic and eukaryotic, both of which consist of cytoplasm enclosed within a membrane and contain many biomolecules such as proteins and nucleic acids. Cells reproduce through a process of cell division, in which the parent cell divides into two or more daughter cells. In the past, there have been many attempts to define what is meant by "life" through obsolete concepts such as odic force, hylomorphism, spontaneous generation and vitalism, that have now been disproved by biological discoveries. Aristotle was the first person to classify organisms. Later, Carl Linnaeus introduced his system of binomial nomenclature for the classification of species. Eventually new groups and categories of life were discovered, such as cells and microorganisms, forcing dramatic revisions of the structure of relationships between living organisms. Though currently only known on Earth, life need not be restricted to it, and many scientists speculate in the existence of extraterrestrial life. Artificial life is a computer simulation or human-made reconstruction of any aspect of life, which is often used to examine systems related to natural life. Death is the permanent termination of all biological functions which sustain an organism, and as such, is the end of its life. Extinction is the term describing the dying out of a group or taxon, usually a species. Fossils are the preserved remains or traces of organisms..
