TED Radio Hour Reviews
Love the podcast, but just like if you find out someone is a rapist - even if they were a generally good person before - you’d still give them a one star. “America’s Greatest Achievement” moon landing isn’t taught to our children in school anymore. There’s no way I can listen with a straight face when one of your “experts” uses the moon “landing” as a defense or reference for some achievement. We didn’t go there, were not that advanced. It’s sad but true. Let’s Start searching for the truth and let’s really make the world better. What real county would “forget” how to go to the moon when it was their greatest achievement?
I just love this series. The ideas are interesting and the guests are really intelligent and diverse. Kudos guys🏆
I always come away from these podcasts feeling informed and can listen to the same one multiple times, gleaning more each time.
I loved this podcast in the earlier years. There were a lot more insightful thoughts and ideas shared. Now, it is almost exclusively just a discussion of political buzz words and social justice propaganda. If I wanted to hear that, I’d go to CNN or Fox News. I miss the old TED Radio Hour.
Shame on you guys. If you can’t muster an episode each week, please don’t publish. I’m starting to feel like 90% of these episodes are reruns. Please stop, this is not appreciated. I’ve never known of a podcast to so unashamedly do this. Have some self respect and respect your listeners.
All god just Please don’t have people with lisps on an audio Podcast 😣
I never miss an episode of TED radio hour. Keep up the great work! You make my work more enjoyable.
This podcast is very great and thought provoking. You may listen to it and think "shouldn't I just listen to TED talks?" Wrong, there is great value added by the NPR interviews with the TED presenters. Also the comparisons or contradictions the show present between various TED talks is fascinating. In addition, it covers 4 or 5 ted talks in an hour. That way if you listen to one and think it is interesting you can go listen to the complete talk. If you listen to it and think you got the point you just saved time but not listen to the full talk. Thanks for the great podcast and keep them coming.
Unlike so much of the daily news, TED Radio Podcasts broaden thought and discussion, narrowing the parameters of required research through presentation of the relevant work experience and findings of a sensitive, articulate group of international investigators and observers.
Thank you for curating ted material in such a professional way. I cannot imagine starting my day without these episodes. It has made me think and wonder and makes me more curious about the interesting speakers I would have otherwise never heard of.
Such an interesting start to my day
Great themes, great host, great speakers. It's awesome to deep dive into a particular topic this. Also like that old eps are mixed in too (as I only subscribed in late 2016!)
Chuck Norris can tear INXS apart.
This is a great podcast that tells amazing stories with beutiful sound design. Very inspirational.
I absolutely love these podcasts - they are eye-opening, intriguing, informative, and captivating. Love to listen to them on my commute home :)
Fabulous interviews with honest people and thought provoking topics. Thanks Ted Radio hour, the variety of guests means thee is something for everyone.
Love vitality but not the app
I want more! GB
Like Ted And Guy Raz (How I Built This is podcast poetry), so gave this a punt. Admittedly I’ve only heard one episode, Hacking the Law. Some really odd ideas, fair play. Spicy. But they were totally unchallenged. I find it frustrating when the host doesn’t challenge red flags to a guests statements and ideas. Come in Guy, get punchier. GB
I love this podcast! Guy is such a professional host and the range of guests and topics make for really fascinating listening - on almost every episode! A definite five stars - I recommend to anyone interested in our world and how it works and obviously any TED talk fans! xGx GB
