TED Radio Hour Reviews
Listening to snippets of Ted talks is deeply in satisfying. When there is a finely honed 12 minute talk, why broadcast a loosely structured 6 minute interview? It's garbage, and Guy Roz is an idiot.
I loved this podcast in the earlier years. There were a lot more insightful thoughts and ideas shared. Now, it is almost exclusively just a discussion of political buzz words and social justice propaganda. If I wanted to hear that, I’d go to CNN or Fox News. I miss the old TED Radio Hour.
Shame on you guys. If you can’t muster an episode each week, please don’t publish. I’m starting to feel like 90% of these episodes are reruns. Please stop, this is not appreciated. I’ve never known of a podcast to so unashamedly do this. Have some self respect and respect your listeners.
Totally my favourite podcast ever.
I think that the way Guy Raz & the npr staff do the Ted Radio Hour makes the episodes hard to resist, & “heads & shoulders” above the other podcasts. They have a real gift for drawing us in with the essence of the topic, & then bringing together several Ted speakers on the same general topic, all of which can be followed up by looking up the speakers’ full talks on Ted.com. Guy is especially skilled at asking the right questions at the right times, & he sounds as interested in the speakers & topics as I am. Thank you very much for giving me a gold mine of new information as often as I want, which is often. I find it exciting beyond words... 😃 Wendy
I’ve always loved TED talks and I was hesitant to try a full audio adaptation to something I thought of as very visual. They keep me engaged and I feel like I’m not wasting my time, or getting too distracted. It’s perfect. Thanks!
It was great, thanks
Learn more about the worlds around you. Whether that be the individual worlds that live within our minds or the planets that fill the universe we live in. It’s really a joy to listen to for anyone and everyone!
Great show, but the rerun rate is high.
Great on the drive to work!
This podcast got me addicted to radio shows. I am a huge fan, never stop learning.
These podcasts are reminders of all the things wrong in the world, there are so many right things. It reminds me how many great humans we have on this planet and every day I am inspired to become one and how amazing our world is.
That is all.
It's got Guy so ...
I love listening to the TED radio hour. They take TED talks and dig further into each of them, finding out the information that we all wanted to know. There is also theme of each podcast, which brings focus to the message each of them are trying to deliver.
Chuck Norris created the world when he roundhouse kicked a meteorite that was going fifty trillion miles per second. we know that event today as the Big Bang Theory.
This is a great podcast that tells amazing stories with beutiful sound design. Very inspirational.
I absolutely love these podcasts - they are eye-opening, intriguing, informative, and captivating. Love to listen to them on my commute home :)
Fabulous interviews with honest people and thought provoking topics. Thanks Ted Radio hour, the variety of guests means thee is something for everyone.
This show gets the juiciest bits from 4/5 ted talks and bundles them up into one very thought provoking show on a specific subject matter. By incorporating Guy as the (excellent) host it provides some discussion around the main points. Definitely recommended. GB
I love these podcasts. They are produced extremely well and make for easy listening on my commute to and from work. GB
I love it when this comes up on my podcasts. GB
