Everybody Loves Raymond, starring standup comedian and Emmy-Award winner, Ray Romano, revolves around Ray Barone, a successful sportswriter living on Long Island, New York with his wife Debra (multiple Emmy Award-winner, Patricia Heaton), and three kids. But their big happy family gets a bit too big (and less happy) when Ray’s meddling parents, Frank (Emmy Award-winner, Peter Boyle) and Marie (Emmy Award winner, Doris Roberts), frequently stop by, since they live directly across the street. Brother Robert (Emmy Award-winner, Brad Garrett), a divorced police officer, is constantly moving in and out of his parents’ house, and loves to drop by and show his resentment towards Ray’s successful career and happy family life. Dodging Marie’s constant critique of Debra’s cooking, Frank’s witty one-liners and Robert’s dead-pan despair, Ray and Debra just wish someone would ring their doorbell before entering once in a while.

The show itself is amazing, great and hilarious and deserves five stars. Like others has mentioned, there are deleted scenes, doesn’t include the openers and there’s an episode missing from season 7; episode 25 ‘Roberts wedding pt. 2’. Hopefully they fix this cause you’re not getting everything that you pay for which is terrible for fans of this series.

This version of the series does not include all scenes. Usually every episode begins with a 1 - 2 minute opener and episode opening theme. 99% of the episodes in this set have that 1 - 2 minute opener cut out. Usually when a series goes into syndication (reruns) the 1 - 2 minute opener is cut for time and replaced with commercials. It appears that for this iTunes version of the show, they did not use the original version (originally aired OR sold on DVD) but they used the syndicated version. I love the show and it’s a serious blow when Apple isn’t giving you everything that you paid for. I am very disappointed.

I watched this show every night when I was growing up. I a great show and the cast has a chemistry that just builds through the whole series. With jokes that get funnier each time and a dysfunctional family dynamic this is definitely worth watching again and again.

This show came into my life at a time when I really needed at least some semblance of family/relationships in my world — it is such a great show. Well written, wonderfully acted, and really funny. Everybody Loves Raymond is timeless fun. Love this show!
