Great show! We have found this to be an excellent show to watch as a couple, after the kids have gone to bed. The suspense that Homeland generates is awesome. My wife loves this show. The suspense iTune generates waiting for season 2-3, not so awesome.

Was hooked by the first episode & now have finished watching the 1st season in just over a week. Where is season 2??? Why can't Canadians buy it like the Americans?? Can we at least know when it may become available to us?

HS2 is available through so many other (paid) channels. But I have paid for AppleTV and iTunes. I expect, at the very least, a common level of content with SuperCh. and others Apparently iTunes provides HS2 in the US and Australia. Why not Canada?

Loved the season 1 but where is season 2?

Someone help me out here, is it just me or is Homeland just not that good? Predictable, cliche, no grounding in emotion or reality? It seems really, really popular, but it seems like it is trying to be The Wire, and failing on all counts. Not that good, but if you like it, good luck, no season 2 for me.

Why is Season 2 half way done on showtime and not available in the Canadian iTunes? Why can you buy season 2 in the Australian iTunes and the US iTunes and not in the Canadian iTunes. Your not being very neighbourly. Fix it please. Wonderful show! Great job Claire Danes!

Without a doubt, the best series on TV. Well-written, well-acted and a believable storyline. Suspenseful and at times even nail-biting. Season 1 is incredible and leaves you wanting more. So, where is Season 2, iTunes? It's available in the U.S. Store. Why not the Canadian Store too? In any event, download Homeland, you won't be disappointed.

I love show, great story line. Why does it take so long to see the first show of season two.

We have only seen 4 shows so far but we are totally impressed with the story line, the cast & the acting. Claire Danes is riveting! The only downside so far is that there is too much nudity that is not needed...The show would be better without it.

This show is really clever and keeps you guessing. I love it -- intriguing and entertaining. MY favorite type of drama, like a great book. We watched the whole season in about 3 days. Had to hold back on watching all at once ! Love it...but now am so addicted I need to see Season 2 which is not available on pay or cable here in Quebec that I can find. Love this show! My wife and I are so into it, she can't stop watching, we are in season 5 has to do it. HOMELAND just what we need it.

I was looking for something good. I like Walking Dead, The Americans, Suits, Vikings, Chicago PD, Murder in the First, and others—But I was out of shows and in between seasons so I gave homeland a chance> Quickly moved through 4 seasons and am watching the fifth. The acting is superb. The lead character goes deep, and others. Good writing. I’ve sometimes watched episodes twice, which i have rarely ever done. Very interesting!

This show won instant critical acclaim in its first season. It has gone SLIGHTLY downhill since then, but the first season is must-watch. It tells the story of a marine (Damien Lewis), taken captive by terrorists, who returns to the US where he is suspected of being a terrorist himself by CIA officer Carrie Matheson (Claire Danes). Those two actors are fantastic, but they are matched by Mandy Patinkin in a supporting role as Carrie’s boss. This show is not intolerant toward Muslims; in fact, in many ways it provides critiques of US policy. It’s far more complex and human-centered than 24, but just as entertaining.

Dynamite entertainment. I love the way the story builds. I put it up there with The Wire and Breaking Bad. Its requires an intial investment, but it really pays off if you stick with it.

Good show but does it really need to have all of the nudity. Disappointed that Hollywood can't tell a story w/o sex. If it were not for the nudity i'd have rated it a lot higher.

I was talked into watching this series and Im glad I did. Being skeptical regarding this tv show, I went into not expecting much. Being prior military myself, Military shows/movies rarely impress me since they’re typically unrealistic in many ways. And although some of the scenes in this series I took with a grain of salt, I still enjoyed it immensely and have started to watch season 2 now. Worth watch and its enjoyable.

Just started watching this on Netflix, and was immediately pulled in. I've always loved Claire Danes (ever since My So-Called Life) and her intensity. The only problem I have is that it seems that the level of obscene language seems to increase with every episode. Really unnecessary. Otherwise, I love the characters and storyline.

This Is Claire Danes At Her Best.

Have come across very few shows that is THIS GOOD. It's nothing short of amazing. If you love unique shows that have twists and turns, this show is for you. Not impressed by many, but this show has honestly done just that. Season 2 gets even better. WORTH YOUR TIME.

First off, I really did like this show. I was pretty frustrated with the portrayal of a marine. Both in the presentation of his uniform as well as him in character. It is always frustrating, but I understand this has to be shapped for TV. Just not quite sure why his uniform is wrong when it really isn't that hard. Second the flow of the show seemed choppy at times. Lastly, just wish this show was more true to reality. Portray military correctly, and don't show FBI SWAT members taking silly risks that would never take in real life.

I started watching this by a friends recommendation. This series did not disappoint! Great cast with a plot line that takes you on their journey. Can't wait for season 2!!!!

When will Season 2 be available in the USA? It's been available in the Australia store for months, but you cannot purchase it if you live in the USA.

The rave reviews of this show speak volumes of the American public. There are so many dumb mistakes in the plot that take away from what could have been a great show. CIA screening of potenial recruits is very rigorious. Really they missed a person with severe Bi Polar Disorder? A highly trained Marine Sniper moves his rifle around with his finger on the trigger? Well some will say "oh this is entertainment relax" that is fine. We have decided to accept mediocrity as a nation in our Schools, Children, and Government might as well do the same in Entertainment. If you have a long trans oceanic flight download and watch it. There are better more stimulating shows out there for the rest of us.

Every episode in both seasons leaves you wondering and waiting for the next show! I cannot wait until season 3. Every actor is amazing !

Many of the negative reviews attempt to blame Apple because Season 2 of Homeland is not available on iTunes. If it's not available, it's Showtimes' fault, not Apple's. The same is true for Game of Thrones on HBO. Don't be an idiot. Understand what's really going on and vent your anger at the party that's really to blame. Apple would be happy to take your money for Season 2.

Why can't we see homeland 2? Been waiting too long , what's the prob?

The first few episodes start out with random nude scenes that are supposed to (cheaply) provide character development. However, around the 5th or so episode, I got hooked. This show isn't interesting because of the sub-plots, which are rather poor at times. The show is fascinating because of the character development of the two main characters and how their relationship with each other throughout the season marks each major turns for each individual.

Amazing on every level...as captivating as the best of Tom Clancy, John Grisham and 24 rolled into one. Characters are thoughtfully complex, plots and subplots are both plausible and surprising. Griping TV - hope they can keep it going for 10 seasons!!

That's a really really wonderful TV show. All the things were good specially the plot and the acting. I don't know how can I wait for season 3 but i think i'll watch it again and again till Sep 2013!

I really wanted to like this series. Solid cast, interesting idea - lousy writing. Not only does the viewer not connect with the characters because of the vanilla script, you don't care what has or is happening to them. Disappointed.

I can't understand the popularity of this series. I forced myself to watch the first 4 episodes but could not watch anymore. It's a total waste of time. The second season premiered on Sunday, September 30; however, it's not available on iTunes. Apple should find a way to let its customers know when TV shows are expected to be available instead of continually ignoring comments and/or inquiries.

I consumed this first season like a glutton. Incredibly gripping. PLEASE make Season 2 available ASAP. I believe the Australian iTunes site has it already; it's simply cruel to keep Americans waiting!

I was into it up till the last two episodes, the ending sucked. Claire Danes character was barely holding my sympathies and then they just made her so pathetic. The acting really devolved all around with every character. Its not just the writing as other suggest, its the directing. Its bad. The Director makes the actors look bad. Not at all pumped to see Season 2. This is NOT how a great show should leave me feeling after it's over.

If you are looking for the next "24" this is not it the pace is so slow the only exciting parts happen in the last five minutes and of the first five episodes i have found one half our of "24". This show is not very exciting and i do not recommend it.

This is an amazing show! My mom and I literally cannot stop watching and now every Sunday, we stay up to watch it! I thought Season 1 was phenomenal, but Season 2 is turning out to be even better! Claire Danes and Damian Lewis are extraordinary!

I dont have the option to subscribe to showtime but I would gladly buy the new season. If its not posted soon I'll probably move on to another more accessible series and forget about homeland
