Welcome to Episode 3 of my Fitness Lifestyle Journey Series where I give you guys an insight to how I decided to Transform my Body. When I made the decision to compete in my first show I knew I had to make some real changes to my body so needless to say that the road to my first body transformation was not an easy one. I knew I had to start making a shift in my body composition (basically redistributing body fat for lean muscle mass.) I didn't know what I was truly getting myself into or how long the process would take. for those of you who are on this same journey you know that putting on muscle in a lean healthy way is not easy. As I start to make some progress I realized this road was a long one but I had committed to doing this and was ready to see how far I could go.

You look fabulous, but I have watched your 3 "transformation" videos and I would love to see "before and after" pics of your transformation. You say you were a ballet dancer that competed so, from experience, you were long and lean and slightly muscular. Would love to see your transformations. And I want to train in the beautiful gym with the stone and rocks. Is that your private gym? Most gorgeous gym I have ever seen!!!!!!

Lisette how do I know that my body is gaining muscle and not fat? I've been lifting consistently now for 15 months and gained 7 pounds but my waist size and is the same booty/hip circumference increased by 2 inches! Usually my body type is more top heavy Apple shape. I'm 5'3 130 lbs. I usually sit at 122-125. The weight gain scares me. I track my Marcos on MyFitness Pal.

Hey Lisette! I'm totally loving this series! Just a quick one! If my BMR is 1475 and I want to lose fat, (working out 5 days a week for 1 hour which consists of 100 sets of group muscles (i.e biceps and triceps/squats and lunges) + 2 rounds of HIIT) does that mean I'm eating 1300 calories a day with a 40/40/20 split? Just need pointing in the right direction! Thank you!!
