Are you an e-commerce store owner looking to get your Shopify emails connected to your Gmail account? We’re here to help!
Setting up Shopify to work with Gmail is a simple process that will help you stay on top of your store’s operations and communications with customers. With this setup, you can easily send and receive messages from your store’s email account without having to log in and out of multiple accounts. Here’s how to do it.
First, you'll need to set up your Shopify account. To do so, you'll need to log into Shopify and click “Settings” followed by “Email.” There, you can create an email address. Make sure to include your store’s name in the address (for example, [email protected]).
Next, you'll need to set up a forwarding address. To do this, click “Forwarding” on the settings page and enter the email address you'd like to forward messages to. This should be the same address you use for Gmail.
Now, you'll need to set up Gmail to accept the forwarded emails from Shopify. To do this, log into your Gmail account and click “Settings” followed by “Accounts and Import.” Next, click “Add a mail account.” You'll enter your store’s email address, and then click “Next.” You'll be presented with a security message, which you should click “Continue.” Once you've done this, the emails from your store’s account will be forwarded to your Gmail account.
The last step is to set up your Gmail to send emails from your Shopify account. To do this, log into Gmail and click “Settings,” followed by “Accounts and Import.” Then, click “Add Another Email Address You Own.” You'll enter your store’s email address again and click “Next.” You'll be asked to enter your store’s SMTP server information. This will be provided to you in the email settings on Shopify. Once you've entered this information, Gmail will be able to send emails from your store’s email address.
That's it! You've now successfully connected your Shopify account to Gmail. You can now send and receive emails from your store’s email address without having to log in and out of multiple accounts. Congratulations!
