I enjoyed MV but found this much less engrossing. Fewer stages had me scratching my head or using unpredictable sequences. And the motifs seemed less interesting this time around - the sacred geometry shapes were uglier, the shadowy figures giving their gnomic lectures just a little bit more pretentious. Every time the weird jug/hat came out to release a shape I wondered where it was being concealed since the cape dresses didn't seem big enough. All these little details jarred.
If anything happens related to the audio subsystem, the game loses all audio.
I loved the first game but I dont remember it being this boring. You get a fairly simple puzzle (at least as far as i am along) and then a bit of story and animation before the next one. So far so good, except the puzzle takes ten seconds, twenty on the harder bits (there arent many things you can do wrong.) The animation/arty bit takes twice this and then theres a title screen for the next chapter/puzzle and then.... you get my drift. Some people have complained it is short as it took two hours but actual playing time? Not long enough, far too much to watch and very little to do. Go buy a book.
The final isn't great
Not working. Barely starts and then freezes. Running ios11
This game was awesome! It was meaningful and the graphics were beautiful! I loved this game! It's a must buy. Love it, and perfect balance of puzzles, thinking complexity and beauty. I would definitely recommend this to EVERYONE I know. I would say although it's great, but the first one is better. It's worth every penny! A rating: 65% puzzles and thinking 25% beauty 10% Emotion/story 100% awesome and worth it
This game is great and I will tell my friends about this relaxing game. It's a bit short, but well developed. It would be great for more levels and hard bonuses at the end.
I wished Ro, her child (I don't know her name) and Ida had an adventure in MV3 (if ustwo plans to make one)
Okay, first, the puzzles are great. The music is great. The graphics are great. They nailed it just like in version 1. But the story. All I can say is lol. 🤣😂🤣😂 Only a bunch of flippin’ Millennial developers who lived with Mama until they were 30 would think that leaving your parents was some sort of profound event worthy of such pretentious treatment. What’s the next game? Going out and getting your license when you turn 16, or going to your first 8th grade dance 💃? Here’s a heads up, ladies and gents. You leaving your parents is what you’re SUPPOSED to do! It’s no more Earth shaking than graduating High School. If you don’t do it, then just consider yourself a loser, and certainly don’t make some game about it. You little goofballs. So, if you did like Monument Valley 1 which actually had a cool, intriguing story, go ahead and get this, but just mash the crap out of the continue button when they start trying to tell you that a girl leaving her mommy is something you should give two rips about. 😄🤣🤦♂️🤷♂️ Who approved this story over the other ideas?

I got this game this morning and I’m already on the second to last chapter. I love this game so much; it’s heartbreaking, cute, challenging, and inspiring. But what makes me a bit annoyed is the fact that there’s only 14 chapters. I want more!! This is the most highly addictive game I have ever played and worth the money. Thanks so much and please consider making a 3rd Monument Valley in which Ro’s daughter embarks on her own adventure with her child!!
Maybe i’m just too good at these games but it only took me about an hour to finish the game and there’s no real end game?

After reading all the reviews, I decided to try this app. Very cute graphics, but the game was very very easy and took very little time to work all the way through and no real challenges. Best for children I think! Not enough game play for the price.

This is a great game, beautiful visuals and puzzles not too challenging. However it is far too short, you can complete the entire game within an hour or so. Not what I expected from a paid game at all, very disappointed
I was sooo excited to play this game after playing Monument Valley 1. The graphics and music were on point, but it was too short. I wish they could add more story to it like MV 1 with Ida. Apart from that though, it was a great game.
the first lvl in monument valley and monument valley II are the same.
Chuck Norris can roundhouse kick your face... with his hands.
Another awesome MV game. Bring on MV3!! A little short and easier than MV1 however still awesome fun.
Why are people reviewing this as being too short? It’s just right with each amazing levels and a beautiful story! More levels would always be appreciated. :D Thank you developers :)
I really enjoyed the story and the graphics are amazing, overall a beautifully made game. However I have to agree with others... it was far to easy.

This game is just like a movie
Ya oynarken zamanın nasıl geçtiğini anlamadım. Ya da oyun çok kısa.
Çok basit ve çabuk bitti.
Grafiği olsun, hikayesi olsun her şeyim mükkemmel. Ama 1. de olduğu gibi 1 günde bitti. Biraz daha uzun yapılsa daha eğlenceli olurdu.

I don't have this game I have part 1🙁🔫
We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit.
