Hell and Gone Reviews
I am from Arkansas, and I love how I get the gist of the way things are around here and how u got people talking and stirred up!! Loved it and want to hear more!!
It’s like making a murderer REVERSED, this sounds like cops who wanted to protect their locals and bury a murder case! My heart aches for the family, justice for Rebekah!! Go Catherine! I love this podcast and I’m sharing it with every single person I know!
The narrator leads listeners to believe she figures it all out, but she just listens to gossip and hear say. Not to mention that she lumps every one in the area into one “meth-addicted” under-educated category. In the end, I thought she came off looking the dumbest. Don’t waste your time.
Interesting story but ease up on the background music! It’s so loud and forced and it really takes away from what you’re trying to say
the music is very distracting as it is too loud. Nice work otherwise. Keep up the excellent work.
I love the content of this podcast and the host is great, however the background music is too loud. It often obscures the conversations and drowns out the host’s voice, making it hard to follow. If the music was quieter, I’d give it 5 stars because the content is great!!
I love that this investigation is happening right now! Rebecca deserves justice, so I’m very happy that this reporter decided to do all she could to give that to her. Can’t wait for the next episode!
This podcast feels more like you are listening to the reporter try to solve the mystery of who kissed her boyfriend, rather than solve the mystery of who killed Rebecca. If you are an avid podcaster who is running out of new things to listen to then it’s interesting enough I guess, but there are much better podcasts out there. Sorry.
Quality reporting and real witness interviews. A real time informative report podcast.

Always starts with “I’m Catherine Townsend and this is Helen Gonn”. But you never hear anything from Helen. Suspicious. Very suspicious indeed. Where was Helen Gonn on the night of the murder? I sense an elaborate cover-up. GB
I have just binge listen to the podcast and it has me hooked. I sincerely hope they catch who did this and the family gets closure. The hosts have created and delivered a clear and considerate podcast. It’s been very well put together and researched. Let’s hope the next few episodes will have a resolution. GB
Gave it a chance but I had to give up listening after about 4 episodes. Firstly, there is so much filler. Hosts getting in and out of cars, walking into shops, introducing themselves to people, literally just driving around looking for people to talk to. It’s so noisy and extremely annoying and a waste of listening time. Secondly, hosts jump to conclusions all the time without investigating further. Perhaps to leave reveals for later... but that format doesn’t work in this podcast where we are supposed to be along for an ongoing investigation. Feels like hosts are trying to tell a dramatic story before they know what it is, rather than systematically exploring the facts of the case. Finally, the false sense of danger and urgency is just irritating. GB
You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time.
Hell and Gone Wiki
In religion and folklore, Hell is an afterlife location, sometimes a place of torment and punishment. Religions with a linear divine history often depict hells as eternal destinations while religions with a cyclic history often depict a hell as an intermediary period between incarnations. Typically these traditions locate hell in another dimension or under Earth's surface, and often include entrances to Hell from the land of the living. Other afterlife destinations include Heaven, Purgatory, Paradise, and Limbo. Other traditions, which do not conceive of the afterlife as a place of punishment or reward, merely describe Hell as an abode of the dead, the grave, a neutral place located under the surface of Earth (for example, see Sheol and Hades)..
