Dateline NBC Reviews
ROBIN SO CA
I can’t complain when I’ve listened to episodes more than once! Great production team!
This my favorite podcast. I just don’t like the creepy voice that guy does at the beginning of some of the episodes. Other than that great show!!!
I really enjoyed watching Dateline on TV for years but then I got rid of cable and couldn’t find it on any of my streaming services. A month ago, I discovered Dateline podcasts and couldn’t be happier! I can’t remember the main guys name but his voice...wow, it’s smooth. I could definitely fall asleep to his voice if I wasn’t always driving when listening to episodes. I agree with the other reviewers asking for older episodes! I’m blowing through the ones you’ve posted so fast and it’s making me anxious! Lol.
super great to listen to while doing university work! Especially during my criminology class!
I can’t believe these reviews, I thought I was the only one that uses Dateline as my sleep aid. It takes me no time at all to drift off then waking in the night to backtrack and go again. Strange habit but thank you Dateline. I wish you were on more often.
The voices The stories Love it! Many hours of entertainment you will be hooked.
This is a reliably great podcast!
The Half-Blooded Princess
This show features almost no people of color and the language used to discuss people is ignorant and offensive. The way they talk about sex workers is especially gross, like you can’t be an upstanding person AND also perform sex work. They treat sex workers and drug users like seedy, shady people and create a very black and white image of all the people involved. These are people who still have to live their lives after these episodes air and y’all don’t care about the collateral damage.
As a master of minutia in all things scientific & legal, I greatly enjoy listening to these podcasts while tucked up, snug in bed, guard dog sleeping nearby. They are, strangely enough, both intellectually stimulating while relaxing at the same time. I toggle the sleep timer to engage after an episode or two, knowing they’ll lead me into a deep REM sleep. Bravo Dateline and all the skilled voice/reporting talent, especially my favourite (and fellow Canuck) Keith Morrison.
Wolf pack 23
I love the cases that are covered and the narrators voice! I would recommend this to any true crime fan.
This is just audio from past Dateline episodes as far as I can tell. There's nothing new, no commentary. It's an ok time filler, but it's rather stretching it to call it a podcast.
Nothing will ever beat Dateline. It’s the original true crime story teller. Love from Australia 🇦🇺
My most favorite podcast. Lester has a fantastic way of narrating each episode. I can’t wait for each episode. From Perth ,Western Australia 👍👍👍
Each story more gripping than the next. Excellent narration and episode are not too long. Keep up the great work, loving Dateline from down under in Oz!
Chuck Norris is so fast that he can turn off the light switch and get in bed before the room gets dark.
It's hard to pick a nickname t
You can’t find a better crime podcast. Dateline unpacks each episode like layers of an onion. So many twists and turns before a riveting conclusion. Compulsive listening.
Real treasure trove, love the deep detail, the slow reveal, focus on the victims. GB
Being in the UK I have no way of watching Dateline so this podcast is perfect. I love it and am so glad I found it! I’m gutted I haven’t found it earlier but I have so many episodes to catch up and binge, which makes me very happy!!! GB
Love all of the presenters and the way the stories are told. I listen to it everyday. GB
Chaos is inherent in all compounded things. Strive on with diligence.
Dateline NBC Wiki
A dateline is a brief piece of text included in news articles that describes where and when the story was written or filed, though the date is often omitted. In the case of articles reprinted from wire services, the distributing organization is also included (though the originating one is not). Datelines are traditionally placed on the first line of the text of the article, before the first sentence. .
