In the show's first season, the Halliwell sisters discover that they are descendents of an ancient Wiccan prophecy--the "Charmed Ones"--after moving into their dead grandmother's old home. As the sisters begin to understand their magical roots, their powers are constantly under attack from all fronts, including warlocks, mortals and even their own long lost father. Warlocks Rex and Hannah are two adversaries in particular who are out to destroy the sisters. Prue also finds love with old high school flame Andy, who finds out about her secret powers. Shortly after, the sisters come up against a demon named Rodriguez, an Internal Affairs officer at SFPD who learns of their powers after eavesdropping on one of Andy's conversations. In the season finale, after repeated, unsuccessful attempts at trying to get to the "Charmed Ones," Rodriguez is aided by time sorcerer Tempus Fugit, who traps the Halliwells in a time loop.

Charmed (Classic), Season 1 Reviews (156)
Andy Serkis was absolutely brilliant in this.
1 star price, HMV box set all eight seasons £35!
Thank you soo much for having this!! I love charmed!!
I love charmed I don't believe it's finally on iTunes!!
I'm so conflicted right now.... I want to watch this, but I'm pretty sure the entire time it'll be my brain screaming, "But that's MR. DARCY! Why did he change his hair? Who is the girl he's with? He can't cheat on Lizzy!" But Matthew looks so ridiculously handsome here :(( I cry.
That's the thing with 90s shows, most music has been changed. You won't find "How Soon is Now" on this release, or a lot of the other popular music from the era. This is not a result of iTunes, but of the studio who refuses to relicense the music. I was about to buy until I learned of this. Stick to the DVDs.
Charmed is the best tv show ever. If you like which stuff this is the show 4 you. It's also a dramatic show. It also has a thing every thing go rong at first but at the end every thing god as pland.
I love this show
Build up your weaknesses until they become your strong points.
I love charmed so much the last season is the best
I absolutely love love love Charmed!!! It's the best show ever!! I just love the story lines and how everything works it's just fascinating!! I have watched seasons 1-4 and am almost finished the fourth season. I have also seen all of the fiank season season 8. Now the last season was awesome!! I have been waiting for charmed to come on iTunes for AGes!! Now that it is here I can purchase and episode and watch it!! Yay yay yay!!! :)
Why is there only music in the opening sequence on the iTunes episodes? Isn't there supposed to be lyrics? I'm sure I remember my siblings and I singing along when it was on tv.
The song used in the trailer is "Sienna" by Paul-Leonard Morgan.
Matthew is wonderful!! <3
I know this has already been stated like 300,000 times, but I feel obligated to do so as well...GAAAHHHH!!!! IT'S MR. DARCY!!!!!!
it’s great that the show is on iTunes but they changed the music which wouldn’t have bothered me but the ‘deja vu all over again’ episode has this terrible pop song at the end of the episode. that character’s exit deserves better, couldn't they have used an instrumental song instead? I know it’s hard to get copyrights for music but I’m just not a fan of substituted music unless it fits the scene, etc.
Charmed is such a good show. It's a mixed bag of action, adventure, magic, horror, drama and even a little bit of comedy. Anyone who enjoys any of those six elements should check this show out.
This episode is NOT called Blind Sided. It's called Out of Sight.
Today is Chuck Norris' birthday. But he will not age.
This show was breathtaking, so well done!!!
Charmed (Classic), Season 1 Wiki
Charmed is an American fantasy drama television series created by Constance M. Burge and produced by Aaron Spelling and his production company Spelling Television, with Brad Kern serving as showrunner. The series was originally broadcast by The WB for eight seasons from October 7, 1998, until May 21, 2006. The series narrative follows a trio of sisters, known as The Charmed Ones, the most powerful good witches of all time, who use their combined "Power of Three" to protect innocent lives from evil beings such as demons and warlocks. Each sister possesses unique magical powers that grow and evolve, while they attempt to maintain normal lives in modern-day San Francisco. Keeping their supernatural identities separate and secret from their ordinary lives often becomes a challenge for them, with the exposure of magic having far-reaching consequences on their various relationships and resulting in a number of police and FBI investigations throughout the series. The series initially focuses on the three Halliwell sisters, Prue (Shannen Doherty), Piper (Holly Marie Combs) and Phoebe (Alyssa Milano). Following Prue's death in the third-season finale, their long-lost half sister Paige Matthews (Rose McGowan) assumes her place within the "Power of Three" from season four onwards. Charmed achieved a cult following and popularity on The WB with its first episode "Something Wicca This Way Comes" garnering 7.7 million viewers, breaking the record for the network's highest-rated debut episode. The show's ratings, although smaller than rival shows on the "big four" networks (ABC, CBS, NBC, and Fox), were a success for the relatively new and smaller WB network. Charmed went through several timeslot changes during its eight-season run. For its first three seasons in the Wednesday/Thursday 9:00 pm timeslot, Charmed was the second-highest rated series on The WB, behind 7th Heaven. During its fifth season, the show moved to the Sunday 8:00 pm timeslot, where it became the highest-rated Sunday night program in The WB's history. At 178 episodes, Charmed was the second-longest drama broadcast by The WB, behind the 10 seasons and 221 episodes The WB aired of 7th Heaven. In 2006, it became the longest running hour-long television series featuring all female leads, before being surpassed by Desperate Housewives in 2012.The series has also received numerous awards and nominations. In 2010, The Huffington Post and AOL TV ranked Charmed within their joint list of "The Top 20 Magic/Supernatural Shows of All Time," while in 2013, TV Guide listed the series as one of "The 60 Greatest Sci-Fi Shows of All Time." Charmed has also become a source of pop culture references in film and television and has influenced other succeeding television series in the same subgenre. The show's success has led to its development in other media, including a video game, board games, soundtracks, novels, and a comic book series which served as a continuation of its narrative. According to data research from The NPD Group in 2012, Charmed was the second-most binge watched television series on subscription video-on-demand services, such as Netflix. A reboot series of the same name, featuring a new cast and new characters, will premiere on The CW network on October 14, 2018.. little, dorrit, littledorrit, bbc1, bbcone, bbc, one, Charles, Dickens, story, love, debt, london, Andrew, Davies, Arthur, Clennam, Matthew, MacFayden, Amy, Dorrit, Claire, Foy, Mrs, Judy, Parfitt, Mr, Tom, Courtenay, Ian, McElhinney, Jeremiah, Flintwich, Alun, Armstrong, Rigaud, Andy, Serkis, John, Chivery, Russell, Tovey, Meagles, Bill, Paterson, Cavelletto, Jason, Thorpe, Producer, Lisa, Osborne, Author,
