I've only just come across this video, but I honestly appreciate and thank you for making it so much. I have a fast metabolism so I've been growing up eating whatever without looking like I've put on any weight at all, and I get tons of comments from my friends that I "must be lucky to be so skinny and eat what I want" when really it's not like that. I've always had problems with insecurities and self-esteem and although I would eat what I want, I would usually overeat and feel horrible about it because I would feel like I didn't look like these people I wanted to look like. Please know that everyone is here for you and I hope we can get better together, no matter how long it may take!

I discovered your channel a month ago and honestly this video really connected my consciousness to the reality , as a person with a very slow metabolism and a huge appetite , I became so insecure seeing K-pop idols after discovering the whole K-pop world , even now I am not happy with myself at all , but I am trying my best to accept myself and my body , it's very hard especially when I have friends who have a very good body despite eating junk . The thing that I realised throughout this self hating phase is that everyone's different in every way and comparing the differences is a way of disrespecting these differences as bad identities , so we all, in conclusion , should just love ourselves openly ! :)

I stopped watching your channel last year but came back bc i find you entertaining lol i def saw a "problem" in your videos last year not bc you didn't eat much or didn't eat unhealthy food (tho i still think a teenager should happily eat whatever they want) but bc I noticed you count carbs or read packagings of food before eating and to me thats a red flag. I've had an eating disorder before and from experience and hearing others your behavior in past videos was a little worrying to me and it made me more concerned that your followers were praising that lifestyle. I don't think there's anything wrong with it but it does raises red flags on me bc i don't know if the person truly wants to live like this or there's smth more going on (especially young ppl) and i worry. I'm really glad you acknowledge to yourself that there was something more going on other than wanting a healthy life and you're working through it!

저도 어렸을 때 그렇게 움직이지는 않았지만 편식을 많이 하고 밥도 잘 안 먹은 탓인지 키도 작고 정말 왜소한 편이였어요, 키가 4~5학년 때까지만 해도 120을 겨우겨우 넘어갔으니까요. 그런데 중학교를 들어오면서 식성도 변하고, 편식도 많이 하지 않고 편식을 하더라도 좋아하는 음식을 엄청 먹어서 처음에는 키가 무진장 많이 컸어요. 140을 넘어 150이 된 건만 해도 말 다 한 것 같아요. 문제는 그 다음인데 저는 항상 '나는 살이 안에서 찐다, 그러니 계속해서 먹어도 문제가 없다.' 라는 생각을 달고 살았어요. 그래서 살은 찌기 시작하고 인스턴트를 먹고 눕고 움직이지도 않고.. 그것의 반복이였는데 최근에 알았어요. 처음에는 믿는 게 힘들었고 다음에는 주변 사람들이 요즘에 너 살이 쪘다, 많이 먹는 구나 등등의 반응이었어요. 그래서 무작정 빼려다 관뒀어요. 그냥 저는 건강한 몸을 만들기로요, 그리고 유진님 영상을 보고 생각이 더더욱 굳어졌어요. 저는 더이상 날씬한 몸, '날씬하고 마른' 에 중점과 목표를 두지 않고 건강한 몸, '건강한' 에 중점과 목표를 두기로요. 저는 이제 정말 건강한 몸을 진심으로 만들고 싶고 만들거예요, 왜냐면 지금 너무 힘들거든요, 몸이 무거워지고 뼈는 약해지는 게 느껴져서요. 이 생각을 더욱 확고하게 만들어주신 유진님께 정말 감사드리고 만약 이 길고 구구절절한 글을 읽어주신 분께도 정말 감사드려요!
